Pettit Consulting, P.C. is a Dallas, Texas based CPA Firm that formed in 1990 and limits its practice to Information Technology Consulting. It is the developer of Carillon ERP (see www.CarillonERP.com) and most of the Firm’s consulting work revolves around developing, testing, implementing and supporting the Carillon ERP product. We also advise clients on the implementation of internal controls and security. We have clients throughout the USA, Canada, South Pacific, Hong Kong, Bermuda, and Cayman Islands. The Firm is a member of the AICPA and its founder is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a Certified Information Technology Professional CITP). The founder is a former Senior IT Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick and a former Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Entry Level Staff Consultants
Primary responsibilities include:
- Testing the Carillon ERP product
- Providing client support for the Carillon ERP product
- Providing client implementation assistance and training for the Carillon ERP product
- Optional opportunity to learn how to program in the Carillon ERP environment
- Optional opportunity to learn network implementation
Programmers
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing using C# in a MVC 5 environment
- Developing using PowerBuilder
- Developing using CSS and JavaScript
- Working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase SQL Anywhere
Sales
Primary responsibilities include:
- Being a salesperson looking for new clients. This is not an order taker position
- Inside sales is a large portion of the position identifying and contacting potential clients to set up appointments.
- Historically this has not involved a lot of cold calling
- Attending on-site demonstrations which includes working with technical personnel who will demonstrate the product
- Working with potential clients to close the deal including negotiations leading to a closed deal
- Working trade shows
- Working with the Firm’s marketing personnel to obtain leads
