Installation Instructions:

1. You must already be on Carillon 2013.
2. Backup your database.
3. Download the Build Install zip file and unzip the files into a new empty folder.
4. Make sure no one has Carillon open.
5. Database Updates - You will need to execute the SQL files against the Carillon database using the Carillon SQL Execution program. Run the SQL Execution program from the shortcut or the All Programs group. Select the drive containing the new SQL files. Navigate to the folder using the listing, and double click on the folder. Click 'Process' to execute the files ending in ‘SQL’ to update the database. (Once you do this no users will be able to run Carillon until the Carillon Build programs are loaded.)
6. Desktop Update - Run the setup.exe to install it. It defaults to install the update into c:\program files\carillon for 32 bit machines or c:\program files (x86)\carillon for 64 bit machines. It can also be pushed out to the client computers using Group Policy. I would encourage you to test this on one computer before deploying to all desktops with group policy. No transform file is needed if this is where all the computers have Carillon installed.
7. Database Table Rights – If users do not already have select rights to the Carillon “popup” and "popup_user" tables, they will need rights for this build.

*** If for some reason all the files did not get updated, try uninstalling "Carillon ERP" from Control Panel and then installing it again.

Do NOT uninstall the "Carillon - Client 7.3".
