Mail

Carillon ERP automates the sending of emails, and soon text messages, to customers, suppliers, vendors, applicants, and employees both from Carillon ERP and Carillon Everywhere.

Imagine not having to scan and manually send quotes, order acknowledgements, and invoices to your customers. The same applies to purchase orders sent to your suppliers and many other types of documents sent to contacts in Carillon's CRM system.

Carillon does it for you.

For example, in the Sales Order Entry window you can choose File, Send and a pop-up box will allow you to send a quote to a buyer while you're on the phone. You can then potentially close the deal in the same conversation or at least cover any questions. From that same window you can send an order acknowledgement to the ordering contact, ship-to contact, bill-to contact, and/or to the sales rep.

Invoices can be automatically sent when shipments are recorded and saved in the Shipping window.

Those are just a few examples of the power of Carillon ERP's Mail feature.

This capability saves time, reduces manual errors, and helps make sure important documents are sent consistently and on schedule. Instead of relying on employees to remember who needs a copy, which document to attach, and when to send it, Carillon ERP uses the contact information and transaction details already stored in the system.

This is especially useful for companies that send large numbers of quotes, acknowledgements, invoices, purchase orders, statements, shipping documents, or internal notifications every day. Messages can be standardized, documents can be attached automatically, and the process can be handled without extra scanning, printing, or manual emailing.

The result is faster communication with customers and suppliers, fewer missed documents, and a cleaner process for accounting, sales, purchasing, and shipping teams.

The most common way to implement this functionality is via a Carillon-supplied Windows server-side process that interfaces to Microsoft Exchange in Office 365, but it can work with most SMTP servers. For emails, the forms and documents are sent as Adobe Acrobat PDF attachments.
